Adult and Youth Workshops More than Just Glass Painting! Ladies …...why not have a RECYCLED FABRIC JEWELLERY PARTY at your home? Invite your friends along to a fun two hour crafty session with all materials and instruction provided.

Learn to felt round a glass or a pebble to make paperweights and candle holders. Felted bowls, beads, brooches and lots more. Tuesdays 8,15.22 and 29 march 2012. 19.00 – 21.00. £32 including materials.
“Glass Painting” : first steps Use glass paint, outline stickers and pens to create decorations from recycled plastic and glassware. Glass painting on different surfaces and with 3D effects to make cards, lanterns and picture frames. Bring a glass item of your own to paint. Mondays 5,12,19 and 16 March 2012. 13.00 – 15.00. £30 including materials.
“Willow Decorations” : first steps Decorate your home and garden with dragonflies, butterflies and easy flowers made from willow and raffia. Turn basic willow shapes into decorations and dream catchers. Make willow flowers, hedgehogs, snails, Easter wreaths and Mexican eyes. Wednesdays 13 and 20 June 2012. 10.00 – 14.30. £32 including materials.
“Jewellery on a Budget” : first steps Turn paper and fabric scraps, beads, buttons, and old woolly jumpers into brooches, bangles, necklaces and earrings. Thursdays 24, 31 May and 14, 21 June 2012. 10.00 – 12.00. £30 including materials.
“Jewellery on a Budget” : taster Recycle old beads and buttons into new bracelets. Use recycled fabric to create a bangle. Bring any beads and buttons that you want to use. Thursday 17th May 2012. 10.00 – 12.00. £6 including materials.
Children's Workshops SPECIALS FOR 2012.............. "Indoor Olympics" Get active by making your own gymnastic streamers, cheer leader pompoms and flying frisbees. Also mini kites for indoors and big kites, flying fish kites and windsocks for outdoors. "Jubilee Fun" Celebrate 60 years by making flags, bunting and streamers. Create and decorate your own willow or recycled card crown. Click on these themes for more information and photos..... All with a green theme and as far as possible using natural, recycled or biodegradable materials. "I have learnt that something creative can be made from just about anything." All workshops can be done indoors or outdoors, depending on the weather. Gazebo available. All materials provided. Most workshops can be adapted for any age from 3 years upwards - see topic descriptions. All children's workshops are brilliant for families.
